Pablo Garibay, Mexican guitarist, is recognized for his performances of iconic concertos by Rodrigo, Ponce, Villa-Lobos, and Castelnuovo-Tedesco, as well as for his strong connection to Latin American music, having premiered works by composers such as Hebert Vázquez, Tomás Barreiro, and Ernesto Cordero.
He made his debut with the Mexico City Philharmonic and has since performed with orchestras across Europe, the Americas, and South Africa, including the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Virginia Symphony, and the Evgeny Svetlanov State Symphony in Moscow.
Winner of international competitions such as the Francisco Tárrega (Spain), JoAnn Falletta (USA), and Manuel M. Ponce (Mexico), he studied at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. He has recorded for labels such as Naxos and Urtext, with world premieres including Sound Dreams and El Árbol de la Vida, and his performances have been broadcast on RTVE and international radio and television.
