A student of the National Conservatory of Mexico, María is currently studying at the Centro Integrado de Música Padre Antonio Soler in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid, Spain. At just 18 years old, she has received 27 awards (7 national and 20 international) and has attended 25 festivals, the most recent being the Paax GNP Festival 2023, led by maestro Alondra de la Parra.

She has performed in over 60 recitals and concerts and has played with 13 orchestras. She has appeared at prestigious venues such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and has performed at award ceremonies in renowned locations like Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

She has collaborated with singers Javier Camarena and María Katzarava. In Spain, she has participated in events at the Fundación Casa de México, the Ateneo de Terrassa in Catalonia, and the festival organized by the Associació de Concerts Reus in 2024.
