Charbel Yubaile

Piano

Charbel Yubaile was born in Veracruz, Mexico. He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Zacatecas, Mexico and a M.M. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Oklahoma State University. He has performed at the “School of Musical Arts” at the University of Costa Rica, Alixares Hotel in Granada, Spain; Slovak Radio Concert Hall in Bratislava, "Freskensaal" at the Laudon Palace in Vienna, Kurhaus Pavillon in Bad Aussee, Austria. He also took part in the "Texoma NATS Competition 2015" at Oklahoma City University, Art Song Workshops at the "Tel-Hai International Piano Masterclasses" in Israel, as well as several chamber music festivals in Mexico and abroad.

He has worked as an accompanist at the University of Nayarit (México) and Oklahoma State University. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Houston, majoring in Collaborative Piano. Together with "I Colori dell'opera" in Houston, he has promoted the performance and streaming of art songs by Latin American composers. Charbel also collaborates with The Ponce Project promoting the music of composers from Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
